'A Day In My Life' (2023)
As a Graphic Designer at Weld Australia, I spend my days balancing creativity with strategy. One day I’m illustrating diagrams and characters, the next I'm designing workbook activities, or presenting in front of the green-screen myself! Beyond creating visuals, I also develop style guides and analyse and adapt our workflows and processes to keep projects consistent and efficient. Whether I’m guiding video and content editors, collaborating with subject matter experts, or developing resources end-to-end, my role is all about making complex ideas clear, useful, and visually engaging.
I also make a really good cup of tea.

Typesetting, Layout
and Document Design
I bring structure and professionalism to content through thoughtful typesetting and layout design, including all illustrations created myself. From textbooks and workbooks to posters and digital resources, I focus on clarity, flow, and readability without sacrificing visual appeal.

My role in creating these resources goes beyond design. I also help shape the learning itself. I’ve developed workbook activities, practical exercises, and multiple-choice quizzes that not only align with compliance requirements but also keep students engaged and supported throughout their learning journey.

Animation / Motion Design
I design light, dynamic animations that transform static content into something memorable. I use motion to enhance learning, storytelling, and connection. I participate in collaborative storyboarding, then create animations that support the video scripts, and bring metaphors to life, as well as title work (intros and outros).

This very old video, used for its lasting educational value, at first stood out within our resources as off-brand and outdated... With a little creativity, it's now a favourite, fits our style, and usually gets a few chuckles
Illustration
I create clear, approachable illustrations that simplify complex concepts and bring ideas to life. From technical diagrams to playful character designs, my work is about making information engaging, accessible, accurate, and fun.

Process and Workflow Design
To keep projects moving smoothly, I created a detailed development process chart that maps out every stage of resource creation. This tool has streamlined communication, improved efficiency, and helped ensure the whole team is on the same page from concept to delivery.
